We work in 92 countries and have served over 750,000 patients in our 20-year tenure.\u00a0 Humanitarian service includes deployments imbedded in communities of refugees, indigenous populations, and other limited resource settings.<\/p><p>We are currently recruiting for new team members for our Global Disaster Area Response Team (DART) to interact directly with our international host countries and their respective government leaders to prepare for the NGO deployments. All deployments must adhere to meeting at least 3 of the UNSDG goals with every deployment.<\/p><p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p><ol><li><strong>Community Needs Assessment:<\/strong> Collaborate with leaders in assigned countries to identify communities in need of service projects and medical team deployments.<\/li><li><strong>Logistics Management:<\/strong> Coordinate all hosting logistics for trips within assigned areas, considering the skill set of volunteer team members.<\/li><li><strong>Communication and Coordination:<\/strong> Schedule Zoom and team meetings with interpreters, manage email correspondence, and utilize Whatsapp for logistics tasking.<\/li><li><strong>Field Briefing Preparation:<\/strong> Create comprehensive Field Briefings containing pertinent health data, country background, NGO history, and details about upcoming deployments.<\/li><li><strong>Participant Onboarding:<\/strong> Orient and onboard international participants to deployment processes during preparation, fieldwork, and reintegration phases.<\/li><li><strong>Reporting and Evaluation:<\/strong> Participate in reporting of measurable key indicators and mission reports for each deployment, contributing to ongoing program evaluation and improvement.<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Desired Skills<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in relevant fields.<\/li><li>2+ years of work experience with demonstrated success in international affairs and logistics.<\/li><li>Previous experience with nonprofits is desirable.<\/li><li>Passion for international humanitarian relief.<\/li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li><li>Strong time management and multitasking abilities.<\/li><li>Proficiency in SalesForce, Olark, Zoom, and G-Suite preferred.<\/li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li><li>Experience working with diverse populations and building strong relationships.<\/li><li>Adaptable and flexible to job needs.<\/li><li>Strong conflict resolution skills.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Strong customer service skills.<\/li><li>Flexible work hours, including nights and weekends.<\/li><li>Valid driver\u2019s license (preferred).<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p><p>This full-time internship requires a minimum of a 6-week commitment during Fall, Spring or Summer. Start and end dates are flexible as interns work independently of each other. Global Coordinator positions are open to any qualified applicant within the United States. <strong>This is not a remote position.<\/strong> It is required that you come to work at the IMR offices at 1600 Emerson St., Denver, Colorado and at the warehouse in Loveland, Colorado. Some weekend and evening hours may be necessary.<\/p><p>Strong customer service skills are required along with the ability to multi-task.
